HELP ANYONE?

HERE'S THE PROBLEM. MY FRIEND HAS A 2008 SCION TC AND BOUGHT A AEM CAI FOR 2005-2006 SCION TC(HIS FAULT). WE GOT ALL THE PIPING INSTALLED. PROBLEM IS THE MAF SENSOR DOES NOT FIT WITH THE MAF MOUNTING BRACKET ON THE INTAKE. I JUST SEARCHED HERE A WHILE AGO THAT THERE IS AN ADAPTER FOR IT? WILL THAT WORK? ANY SUGGESTIONS GUYS? YOUR HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU.

To my knowledge, there is no adapter that will work. The 07+ tC's have different sized MAF sensors, as you found out, and need those specific year intakes to be installed correctly.

Ah, never saw that. I wouldn't deal with just layering adapters on the fittings and just get the correct model intake for the car. You may get a slight air leak/gap using an adapter that isn't constructed completely flat.
