moonroof cover folding?

Hey guys, I was taking a look at my rear moonroof cover, and it is folding. Like looking at it from the back seat the passenger side corner never catches, so that whole side just kind of slides... so the cover thing is broken i guess. I am taking it to the dealer tomorrow to fix it, so i was just letting everybody know that they should check to make sure their moonroof covers fit flush and don-t have any wrinkles or curls.

took it into the dealer today at 8 a.m. the tech guys said the rails need to be replaced for the rear moonroof cover because a pin is missing that holds the cover inplace. The part had to be ordered but will be in tomorrow so I am going back on Friday morning 8 a.m. to have it fixed under the warrenty.

Sorry it has been a little while since i last updated but here is the scoop:The part took about 2 weeks to get in instead of the next day delivery, the clerk mis-read something in the computer, called me and told me so no biggie. By the way the part number is: T0 633062120R1.So i bring my car back to the dealer and they give me a rental car because they say it will probably take all day to install and since it tooks 2 weeks to get they give me a rental so i won-t have to sit at the dealers. So that was nice. However, it does take all day. and the next. and the next. So have several calls back to the service manger (I-ve called them everyday about progress because there is no way it takes 3 days to fix a sunroof cover) this is what is going on. 1) the install the new rails, but the same problem persists2) take out the new rails and try to find the problem -- can-t3) call toyota assistance4) finally discover that the cover itself is too long on one side so it won-t fully close5) remove cover and take to an upolstery ( sorry can-t spell) shop to get fixed6) put it all back togetherSo in the end, i basically have a -custom- rear moonroof cover.A bunch of work for such a simple problem
