this morning i was at my dads dealership and i drove a neon srt....im still not sure how i felt about it!!! well for starters i absolutley HATE the shifter. not a fan of the leather bucket seats it had. and if theres a drink in the cupholder at least for me it was almost impossible to shift. the knob kept coming off lol but yet u can def notice that there is some power to this thing. just wish that it wasnt raining so that i could really see what this car could do. as far as looks i feel with the propper drop this thing looks pretty mean. and on a side note everytime i see one its usully some douchbag jerk off that thinks he's big shit in his little turbo neon. in result if i coul get over the shifter i would maybe consider getting one, that is if i cold even find one....or maybe a better idea oooooooo idk how bout a turbo tc FTMFW!!!!!!

fast little pocket rockets...but you will not get over 60,000 miles on it because it's a neon. Chances are some 16 year old who didn't know how to drive stick drove it before you.

haha agreed. and yea with my driving habits and the amount of milege i put daily this little car will be screaming for maintence alll day long... i have an 06 which i bought brand new in june of 06 that already has 70k plus miles on it

Sorry but NO. The reason because SRT4s have a bad reputation for breaking is the same reason why tCs have a reputation for being ricers, its the driver. Stupid kid get those cars throw a bunch a boost into it and dont spend the money to build the motor or tranny, and thats why it breaks. But those cars, with the right mods, can take over 400hp, with no problem. If the car is stock, it will take all the punishment you can throw at it, its all Mitsubishi under the hood.

o no im not lookin to buy one or anything else at all i was at my dads dealership gettin a quick oil change cause i had to go to toyota today for work on my car but i didnt want them to tell me i needed one and charge me an arm and a leg for one

THey changed the name of a Neon but they still didnt change there shit. A SRT-4 is still a piss on neon. I would never drive that piece of crap. There all counts of ugly. lol

Sorry, but by the arrogant response I could tell you've never owned a DSM. The 4G63 motors have been production since '89, within tuners they have a huge reputation for handling big amounts of power and being very reliable and streetable. No offense, but since production stopped on the Supra, Toyota and fast shouldn't be used in the same paragraph (Not talking about aftermarket). Also arent they thinking about bringing back the celica with a subaru motor in it? Subaru must have done something right for Toyota to want their motors, Do you know who put Subaru on the map? I'll give you a hint, the same people that helped Dodge built the "neon" srt4.
