... Shoulda done some research first. There's no RCA outputs or wires for subs on the stock head units unless you get the '08+ Premium head units. They do make wiring harnesses for it but it's not the same. ![]() Scikotics NJ is sponsored by Lawrence Scion 2006 GReddy Turbocharged Automatic tC 220+ WHP - 14.044 @ 97.02 MPH |

there is a peice you can buy so that you can hook up amps to so you dont need an aftermarket head unit, but the prob is that its almost if not more expensive than buying and aftermarket headunit, plus you need to have a prof. install that part. my suggestion would be buy an aftermarket headunit and install that. stock head unit doent sound as good with aftermarket amps and subs, not enough power. speak up I can't hear you!! |

yo all u need is the high/low converter in order to run rca's to the amp...u dont need a any wiring harnesses i dont believe...i have the stock headunit and a high/low (also know as a line out converter) and u just hook that up to the stock wiring harness as directed...run the power wire...and ur golden..thas how my system is setup and i love it ![]() sig compliments of nana...=) |
