I am getting a scion tC soon, and I was debating whether going manual or automatic? I do want to beef it up and make it fast so wouldnt a manual be better? What do yall recommend?? Pros and Cons |

manual being better on gas is a myth these days, it really depends on how well you drive the 5-speed. |

Be cool. Get a stick. Why? Because it's a stick. |

Manual is always going to be greater, provided you're willing to put forth the effort required to drive one. If you like to have the luxury and smooth drive associated with no shifting, go for the automatic. |

^^ excellent choice, it'll be more effort to drive, but that also makes the drive less boring. + you can do so much with a manual in terms of power. It'll take some time to get used to the drive by wire throttle, but once you're used to it, it's cake. |

Awesome!!! You wont regret it!! unless u live near dc and get the 2 hour bumper to bumper commute bc everyone has to slow down to see the 2 angry drivers on the side of the road throwing fist bc one cut off the other. |

i'd say first time getting manual or not sstill get one with a manual tranny. Like everyone said its more fun to drive and its not hard to learn. Plus in my opinion at makes you more aware of whats going on both in your car and around you since your the one shifting and everything ![]() |
