To the OP, I'm currently with Scion Evolution San Diego and they are a bunch of cool cats. We usually meet up with the SE LA guys before shows and meets. I've got a couple homies from SCTCC that ended up going to Alpha Squad after I went to SE. AlphaSquad membership is kinda by invite only. Scion Evolution

If you're unsure about the shows, try to meet up with a group of people online first (yes, scikotics are great ). See how many are going to the show and then roll in with them. The past two shows I went to I honestly had no expectations of winning anything especially because of the cars I was competeing against. But one show I took and second and the most recent I took first. I would never have guessed because there was some pretty severe competition and I don't have much done at all. Sometimes you get suprised but there is not a rule that you must have X amount of work or money into it in order to show. Go have fun and meet some new peeps! Ask me about Innovative Car Works!
