well i just got my lowering springs put on... then i got my new rims and tires mounted balanced and put on... I love them soo far but from 75 to like 90 mph the steering wheel shakes and on hard braking it really shakes.. They said my rims were a tiny bit worped and had some up and down play to them, but im hoping to god thats not why.. I havnt gotten an alignment yet but am goin to, what could be the cause of this??? |

well if they had the tire on the balancer and it said that it may be true but if they just said that without testing then it could be you lost a wheel weight ![]() 252 hp and 243 ft lbs (only 5 psi spring moves up to 6 psi) 14.3 @ 103 mph |

yeah sometimes those stick on wheel weights fly off that could b it. Take them back and have them look over em. If there was a little warp i still wouldnt ride with a rim like that ![]() |

do you have hub-centric rings for the new rims? i had this problem on my last vehicle. The hub rings will center the wheel on the hub instead of trying to get the wheel perfectly centered by the lug nuts. the center bore in the aftermarket rims is hardly ever the same size as the hub on the car. Stock rims dont need them because the rim is designed to fit the hub snugly. The rings are cheap and you can order them from most any wheel shop. I got mine at discounttiredirect.com with my rims. i hope this helps. beware of the mad sciontist ! ask me your car audio and electronics questions!! a little signature love for good sellers....
