jaewrek Reg'd: Jul 06, 2008 Tire Changer	Hey guys, I'm planning to hopefully get an intake for my tC sometime in the future. I see that everyone seems to like and be satisfied with their Injen intakes, however, I live in California and I don't think the Injen intake passes CARB? So then I started considering a K&N CAI or their Typhoon intake kit or whatever it's called because their intakes pass CARB. So first off I was wondering if my research is correct, that injen intakes don't pass carb and K&N does? and... if so, do you guys know any good places to order a K&N intake, with reasonable discount off the retail price, and which one to get. I've heard about hopupracing, which seems legit, but I was wondering if there are any other places to go to. Thanks for any help! Go slammed, flush, and be happy.

andino Reg'd: Mar 05, 2006 Godlike Advisor	No intake is CARB legal. Just get one and if the cop ask to pop your hood, it's an easy fix and just 10 bucks to pay off. Are you in SoCal? States are quickly figuring out that the CARB set of guidelines (and corresponding visual and dyno/tailpipe testing) is a bonafide Cash Cow. Hell, Nevada took it one step further-- they mandate dyno emissions testing annually.
