hey i picked up the tenzo cai and i was wondering if i should oil the filter before i end up installing it?

i have the K&N oil for intakes.

and if i should how do you do it? oil the intake that is.

Yeah, if it's a dryflow like the AEM filter, DO NOT OIL IT! I bought a generic Tenzo R filter for my trunk and it was oiled though...

i just decided to leave it alone.
lol >.<;; i got lazy. =[
its not a dry-flow filter.
but yeah, i just decided to install it without the oil.

If you did that and it's supposed to be oiled, you're going to be sucking up a good bit of dust. The oil is what prevents that from happening in oiled filters.

Yeah, if it isn't a dry flow filter it has to be oiled. Just grab a K&N filter cleaning kit and spray the filter. It'll take 5 minutes. Without the oil you're letting a bunch of crap into the engine that shouldn't get in there.
