Talking to some of my colleagues from Toyota there has been some rumors of a small entry level pickup truck being added to the scion lineup based on the designs of the Fuse concept. Seems like the Fuse has gained a lot of attention from the public for Toyota to spawn 2 vehicles from it's design, including the re-design of the tC... or whatever it's going to be called. I personally think the small pickup truck market is dead and there is hardly a small pickup truck sub culture that would latch onto the truck. But look at how popular the xB/xD has been.

If Scion did produce the xP it wouldn't be a real truck anyway. It would most likely be a uni-body construction with the 2AZFE engine.

Much closer to an xB or a Hako than any pickup. Purely show.

Probably something similar to that retro Chrysler psuedo pickup thing you see driving around every now and again, Not remotely functional as a pickup, just for style.

I already knew this had been discussed before. Look in the intake forums and you see the same thing over and over again.

The search isn't great and that's going to be fixed soon.

Throw a Toyota FJ Cruiser engine in it or something and make like a mid-large sized SUV with style, I could probably go for that. Under 20k, probably not possible though haha. 25-30k, sure!
