Hey. i just recently got a scion tc and am about to install my 1st mod which is a single din dvd head unit with a single din flip out monitor but i need to know how the little thing that flips down that says scion on it, will come off so that the piece sticking out does not interfere and get in the way of the monitor.. if someone can please tell me how that comes out b/c im sure it should only be a screw or 2 but i dont know how it comes out so any help would be appreciated

ok, first you have to take the center console off. I did it for the first time and all you do is pry it, it won-y break. 1.) Unscrew Shift Knob 2.) Remove plastic piece around shift knob, the entire pice, watch out for the cig. lighter cables 3.) Pry the center console off. I think I pulled it from the bottom, but whatever will work. 4.) When that comes off unplug the cords for the radio, clock, etc. 5.) Unscrew the piece. I believe there are two screws. Then to put it all back together just follow reverse directions. I meant to respond yesterday but didn-t have time.
