ok that dyno lookd to be a mustang. i only think that b/c when the camera man looks at the WHP reading there are two sets of numbers one is tq and one is hp. if you looke closly there is two sets of each. WHen i got my car dynoed it had to sets. the mustang dyno has a deature that reads the whp and wtq with a weather correction. the first number is without the second is with the weather correction |

hey it was the only place near by that would do my car and alls they do is honda so idc. but i was told they also read alower number. the best ive been told is a dynapack which bolts directly to the HUB. But then again thats all things that ive heard. |

you are correct ;) they give you more real world dyno numbers because they put a load on the car as if it was driving on the road |

Yes but the load MUST be set correctly or problems can occur. A 220WHP car was set with incorrect load and it dynoed 350+ WHP and the motor blew (See Krazy House thread). Also - an AUTO tC with I/H/E dynoed 170+ WHP on a Mustang dyno in a different place... there's no way, when approximately the same setup dynoed only 145 on a Dyno Dynamics dyno, and I only pulled 137 (SRI/Axelback - before I went turbo) on the same Dyno Dynamics. In my experience, most Mustang Dyno Owners have no clue on how to dyno properly. I'd like to see the GTR put on a Dyno Dynamics. ![]() Scikotics NJ is sponsored by Lawrence Scion 2006 GReddy Turbocharged Automatic tC 220+ WHP - 14.044 @ 97.02 MPH |

I guess they are not playing around with the warranty. I don't pimp my ride. I'm a pimp in my ride. http://www.myspace.com/cessblood http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=708110639 http://www.itsmyscion.com/cessblood CesswillStompdashitoutu |

Dynapacks connect to the wheel hub, yes. They read higher, since you don't lose some HP transferring the power to the wheels and to the rollers on the ground. However, that's not a true reading of wheel hp. It's more of flywheel HP. ![]() Scikotics NJ is sponsored by Lawrence Scion 2006 GReddy Turbocharged Automatic tC 220+ WHP - 14.044 @ 97.02 MPH |

that might be true but im sure there are some places that know how to set the load. especually a place that only builds and dynos hondas. So im guessing they would kno. |

Yeah it's weird. Nissan is being really weird about the GTR. I don't think they're being that bad about it in the US but in Japan, they're doing a lot to limit the cars. ![]() Scikotics NJ is sponsored by Lawrence Scion 2006 GReddy Turbocharged Automatic tC 220+ WHP - 14.044 @ 97.02 MPH |
