Whats up every body! I'm new to this stuff but i wanted to find out a couple things before i get stop by the cops every 2 minutes.lol. Im thinking about getting an exhaust for my 07 automatic tc. Yea i know Automatic but i cant stand living in the city and wont be able to shift to 3rd at all. Anyways i was looking on youtube but of course doesnt sound the same as if you was to be there in real life. Anywho, i was looking at the borla exhaust which sounds nice but to put my question now: What exhaust sounds great on an auto but doesnt grab every popo in every city i go through? I would appreciate it if you would get back to me. Also any suggestions what site should i go to to purchase and if ne body who lives in the city give me advice. thanks

there are a lot of options for exhausts that won't get 5-O on your tail.

Injen SES
Tanabe G & Medallion
TRD
Borla
Magnaflow
Precision

i would go with eather borla or magnaflow, ive got magnaflow on my car. they both sound great and wont get the attention from the 5-0 like some of the other exhaust out there. the louder ricier the exhaust, the more unwanted attention you'll get. both borla and magnaflow have a deeper sound similar to the TRD exhaust.

Yea i was thinking about getting a borla cuz it sounds really nice and yes almost similair to the magnaflow but just a tad louder in my opinion. Would it make a big difference if i put a turbo or a supercharger. or will the sound of it most likely keep it at that same tone or increase its noise.

I would go with the Tenabe G or the Greddy SP2 is very quite.

supercharger wont change the sound of the exhaust, but a turbo will

Turbo will change the sound... a lot.

The Injen SES is surprisingly quite. It has a very deep tone in the lower RPMs, and stays soft in the upper RPMs. A little bit of a drone in the cab around 2500-2800rpm, but it goes away above and bellow that engine speed, but it is more than manageable. Another member on this board talked me into it through some PMs (because there aren't a lot of reviews for it and the search here is the worst I have ever seen). For a quite exhaust that keeps your car on the down low, I really like it. It sounds awesome in the RPM range I use the most, and isn't obnoxious on full throttle burst.

You can get any axleback exhaust. You won't have problems from cops with it. Once you change out your midpipe, header, or spipe is when you'll get problems.

If you want a relatively quiet exhaust with an aggressive tone then I'd go with the Tanabe Concept G. If you want a more aggressive exhaust and also have the benefit of having a CatBack then go with Skunk2 MegaPower...thing sounds like a WRX!!! This is the exhaust I plan on getting when I decide to buy my MMW Header.
