ok everyone. i recently had to change my battery. i was in a hurry and i disconnected my amp without turning it off(car was off of course) or disconnecting the fuse. this is the first time ive ever disconnected it. now i was about to re-connect it at home and the wire clashed with metal and there was a spark. i'm a little freaked as i dont want t get electrocuted or blow my amp. how do i go about re-connecting it? should i disconnect the whole battery? theres only one wire, i assume it was grounded someplace else by the installer. help...please... thanks in advance. |

You should be able to reconnect the amp, but if you have an inline fuse about a feet away from the battery terminal and you touched any metal part of the car...you might have blown your inline fuse. So, reconnect and see if your amps turns on. If it doesn't, then you know is your inline fuse. |
