EdgarG Reg'd: Nov 27, 2007 Detailer	So last week I was at a car wash and there was a fellow tC driver next to me and I asked him what he had done to it, and he says "nothing really just a k&n filter and i cut my intake box." I was like WTF?. Than he proceeded to tell me how it actually helps a little more than just the filter. After he popped the hood, it actually didnt look that bad, he had the top of the intake box cut off. ( Is this a good idea? or is the guy an idiot? ) heres what i mean: (blue area was cut)

Dr_Isotope Reg'd: Sep 02, 2005 Chief Mechanic	He's an idiot, the intake pulls air through the bottom of the filter. He's bypassing the filter completely. That will eventually end in tears.
