Just wanted to know the best way to paint the chrome trim around our TC's stock grill. I did mine, but don't think I used the best method. Can someone with more experience with painting put their 2 cents in on what would be the best process? just curious...thx for any further info...

Remove the grill, take a screwdriver and remove the trim. Scuff the trim with 600 grit sandpaper so the paint can "stick". Wipe it down with mineral spirits. Do 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of whatever color you want, and as many clear coats as you can tolerate (I did 15 coats). Wait a day or two (let it sit in the sun) and You can slap it back on.

Just take your time and you'll be fine. If you mess up, just take some paint thinner (or equivalent) and start again.
