Me and WEB were doing a small cruise when we saw a new charger driving around wiht a nice ass exhaust. it was the R/T with the hemi. he pulled up and i was in 2nd punched and never looked back. web said i had 2 cars on him constant no distance loss or gained after mid 3rd gear.

I was about 20 feet behind them both when they launched from about a 20-25mph roll, and Greg had a nice jump. The Charger lagged slightly but only matched the pace Greg had and could not subtract any distance between their cars. For about 1/4 mile, Greg had the R/T by at most 2 cars. Really nice show of the Si with his setup.


I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones. A.E.

thanks for the back up jeff. We are gonna have to go out with that s/c kid and see what i can do against that. O0oo0 yea dont wanna forget the car had 20's on it but hey a W is a W.

I saw a video on youtube where a type S raced an R/T charger and yeah pretty much held him until the point you mentioned you stopped around, but in the video they kept going and charger reeled him in. Around 110, the charger passed and just kept pulling.

yea that v8 has a lot higher top speed and more top end. after a certain speed the si just kinda falls off. i was shocked to see how my car did.

EDIT: i let off a little into 4th gear which is abotu mid 90 to low 100's. but im sure he would have caught me. i finish the 1/4 in 96mph so...

well the srt8 is a diff story. I think with some minor bolt ons that thing can keep up with the c6 vette.

yea being greddy turboed will help you out a lot from a dig but get one from a roll. jeff is right they have a huge amount of top end speed. Big ass motor man 3?? hp

Yea the hp numbers look good and the power to weight ratio is decent to. But keep in mind. They do make AWD charger R/T's and from a roll they will be junk. So maybe it was AWD. Nevertheless. Great kill

Base is 250 hp at 3,727 lbs .067
R/T is 350 hp at 4,031 lbs .087
SRT-8 is 425 at 4,160 lbs .102

A car is only as good as it's driver.
