breakout831 Sanford Florida, US Chief Mechanic	I'm pretty good with audio crap...but I looked all around and can't figure out how to get the speaker grills off so I can replace my stock 6.5's with some infinity kappa speakers! It's driving me nuts..I can't figure it out!

06tCdude San Antonio Texas, US Master Mechanic	well u have to take off the door panel, then drill out the rivets holding the speaker in the door. then wire in the new ones in and rerivet them in. then put the door panel back on custom doesnt come from mommy and daddy I DONT street race, I QUICKLY accelerate against other cars

06tCdude San Antonio Texas, US Master Mechanic	the rears aint that bad. pull the seat bottom out, then turn that thing on the panel, then pull tha panel off. ive done it a few times custom doesnt come from mommy and daddy I DONT street race, I QUICKLY accelerate against other cars

breakout831 Sanford Florida, US Chief Mechanic	yeah...i looked up the specs of the speakers. the fronts are 5 1/4's. I have 6 1/2's that I want up front. I got the panel off no problem, but the one electric window clip was a bitch to get off. I actually took my window switch off to do it. I am going to have to retrofit something to make these 6 1/2's fit in where the door speakers are.

breakout831 Sanford Florida, US Chief Mechanic	and another thing. I put the door panel back on and connected the electrical for the window switch. But all day I couldn't get the window to roll down using my switch on the driver's side. It would roll down from the passenger side, but not the driver side. And today it works! I have no idea what the hell happened for it to do that. There's only 2 connections and it's IMPOSSIBLE to screw up.

clutch Ipswich Massachusetts, US Tech Advisor	I'm still confused on how you get the speaker out...What do you put on the drill to take the rivets out lol? do they sell hand tools that caan do this cuz I really don't feel like buying a drill lol.
