Im sure you can get all the stock wiring harnesses from your local Scion dealer.

All of the items that crutchfield sells are installation accessories that connect to the stock harnesses. These are aftermarket harnesses used to make installation easier. However, they will do no good if the stock wiring was cut up and the original connecters are not there.

I thought those wouldnt work. Dealer wants to sell complete harness that goes throughout the car not just the pigtails that go into back of radio. Its 1600 dollars for the harness.

Wow, what a rip off. You dont need to buy the entire wiring setup for the car. I would ask them about this again, because its just not right. You just need the stock harness.

Stole whole car, drove to Vegas partied tried to run cops over when pulled over, but already had taken stock navigation, A/C controls and center of dash. Still trying to find A/C controls too. Amazing part was insurance called car a total loss. Because the dealer parts were so expensive it was 10 grand in damage. I bought car back. Trying to keep as much of the factory stuff working.

Ok I thought you meant they cut just the stereo wires, I got a new replacement harness from them for my Rolla, not pig tails, I thought they sold for every car.

Do you guys think a junk yard, or pick ur part would have what he needs. If so that may be a lot cheaper than dealer.

Sure if you live in an area that has tCs in the junk yard. The junkyards arent going to ship this part though most likely, because it would require slicing up the wiring of the car they have in the junk yard. You could probably go get the parts from the yard and cut the wires.

I would actually consider just buying an aftermarket head unit and wiring directly to that, might be cheaper and better in the end anyway. Depends really on how much you are going to be charged for the harnesses.

I planned on hitting up Houston's j-yards when I got back for parts... not that I need them, but I want to see whats out there.

idk if u can return the stock radio or not, but if u can...might just be easier to get an aftermarket radio...and connect the wiring harness from the radio directly to the stock wires...no need to get the factory harness that way....

other than that...i mean i dont understand y you can just purchase the harness by itself..you should call other dealerships if u havent already...

good luck...sorry that you and your daughter had to be victims to assholes....

sig compliments of nana...=)
