Finally!!! After almost 2 months I have the kit on my car, painted and everything!

Ok, a few pictures to share before I pick up my car tomorrow! I'll take the car somewhere nice for pics too.

I took one last picture before taking the car to the shop...

Here is the kit being fitted, prior to paint work. The lighting was poor in there and one of the guys there took this picture, not me.

Front Bumper, after primer coat

Side Skirts

Rear Bumper

I know it's not much, but I'm really excited... haha.

Don't the kits come pre-primered? I guess it's good practice to do it again to ensure smoothness, but just curious.

Complaining is futile when you supported the victory.

Umm... I'm not too sure but I don't think it was primed when it arrived. The pieces arrived black and didn't feel like they were painted in any way, not even with primer.

The guys at the bodyshop are probably ripping me off because I don't know much and I look like I'm 12yr old but they are doing it right, I'm just getting charged quiet a bit for the work. I was told that the pieces get baked at a really high temp, then wet sanded, and a bunch of other stuff I forget now, primer, many layers of paint, clear coats, etc...

Anyway, the main guy that I talk to at the shop was happy that I bought the urethane version because he hates to deal with the fiberglass ones. He told me that ppl come in with them damaged and the customers end up spending just as much money to get the fiberglass ones repaired/fitted right as it would have costed to get the urethane type in the first place.

Awesome work man!!

No bodykits never come primired, that is up to the buyer to do. They come straight out of the mold, and need cleaned to get theresidue from the mold release off of it. then sanded then primered, painted, cleared and all!!!

Good work man, Looking great!!!
