Window Washer

Ok ive looking through the past forums discussing and answering questions bout CAI and water and how they of course dont mix. The only question i have is when you install a CAI can you no longer use a Automatic Carwash again due to it spraying water from bottom of vehicle upward and that'll shoot water into the filter. I normally wash my car my hand but sometimes i like to run it through an auto carwash for a quick clean so with installing a CAI is it smarter to NEVER use an Auto Carwash again or what

You can still use the auto carwash. There will be times when the filter will get wet regardless how you have it installed.

It will not cause you harm to let your vehicle be auto-washed.

Your paint on the other hand is another story...

I wouldn't worry about it. I have the Injen cai and they say that as long as the filter isn't submerged in water, it won't suck up any. And if you're still worried about it Injen also offers the hyrdo shield for extra protection.

Yeah you will be all set but I don't recommend using an auto wash cause it will destroy your paint by scratching it pretty bad. My hand is the only way to go as long as you do it right!

ahhhhhhhhh its the worst.....but its because of another problem, my wheel arch liner got ripped off and than it rained , wated got sucked in thru intake damaged maf sensor and also cat sooooooo yeaa.........
