Spray paint. Duplicolor auto paints work great. Just be patient - Good tape masking, light coats with plenty of dry time, wet sand with FINE sandpaper (2000 Grit), then clear coat. and yes, the vents do pop off.

im doing this right now actually.
its really easy to take all the pieces off.
i sanded mine lightly with 400 grit sand paper first, then wiped everything down with alcohol to get finger oils off them, then i just used spray paint. i'm doing 3 coats. 1 coat a day and letting it dry good, then 2 coats of clear coat, 1 coat a day.

Isnt 1 coat a day a little excessive on the drying time? I was hoping to have my full setup done in about 6 hours or so. I plan on doing mine tomorrow if I can get around to it.

For mine = i used Duplicolor auto paint, Duplicolor adhesion promoter, Duplicolor auto clear, and 2000 Grit sandpaper...vents pop off, but i recommend popping them out by pushing from behind trying to remove them from the front can lead to breaking the vents fastening clip

1 coat a day is too much. Wait 15 minutes in between each coat.
