Hey gang,

Just to let you know, I've set up some stuff improperly on the server where some major email providers are not allowing email to get through to your inbox, or are being marked as spam.

I'm currently working on the issue so that these messages will pass through normally into your inbox. I'm not sure when these changes will be completed; the issue is being tested.

Problem email providers I've tested are HOTMAIL and YAHOO. Email sent to HOTMAIL won't even make it to your spam or inbox, and YAHOO accounts will filter the mail to spam.

Sorry for the inconvenience! I only realized this now after checking mail logs and consulting with nobleclem.

Hey gang,

Just to let you know, I've done some testing on AOL/AIM email accounts, and amazingly enough, mail is now arriving normally in inboxes. A few days ago, email wasn't even accepted by aol, earlier today mail arrived in spam folder, and now, mail arrives in inbox.

I am still working on yahoo and msn/hotmail. I'd imagine with a day or two, they will be accepting mail as well.

Spoke too soon about AOL/AIM, clubsciontc emails will make it to spam; I've fixed this and it should take several hours for AOL/AIM to no longer mark these emails as spam.

AOL / AIM addresses now get emails from clubsciontc and scionlane.

Still waiting on whatever mess is preventing Hotmail and Yahoo from properly getting mail.

SPF record maybe? You're not on any Blacklists. Or is it coming from a different host other than clubsciontc.com? Some Email providers have issues with that.

SPF records are proper, and rDNS is setup. SPF/rDNS fixed AOL issues. I think the change in servers screwed us when it comes to hotmail and yahoo. Hotmail, I think I need to whitelist ips using one of their services, and then implement domain keys to get through to yahoo (beyond their spam folder). This is ridiculous.

I'm sending out emails through scionlane and clubsciontc. Scionlane is set up as rDNS for this ip, and still the email is being ignored.

The Reverse PTR record is what fixed AOL. Not sure about hotmail. Their spam protection sucks anyway.
