need some help people, i plan on redoing my entire car's setup from engine and body, interior and audio. i dont have the enough funds yet to do the engine quite yet so im going to start on the interior and audio first. im wantin to go NB and a Yellow theme through out the car, im going to start with the seats. does anyone know a good name brand that has a seat that offers the color yellow and black? and another concern was will i need to get mounts fab to fit them in? been lookin around my self and all i can find are some cheap brands and when checkin pics out the material looks pretty gay nd cheap. any help would be great.

Not sure about where to find the color scheme you are looking for, but weapon r makes a set of brackets to install racing seats in the tC.

Sparco makes seat inserts for their seats. They have a set in yellow that looks pretty sick on their black racing seats, might wanna check into those.

Well then you should be good to go then. Pick up a set of racing seats from Sparco, get the yellow inserts, and the brackets from weapon R.

700 a seat is for their crazy expensive performance seats. You can get a seat from Sparco for around 350 easy.

Check this seat out.

You can then get the yellow inserts for it.

True racing seats aren't cheap!

I just wish they made some with side curtain airbags.

You get what you pay for. Im sure the Sparco seat here isnt the most comfortable seat in the world, but it IS made by Sparco, and that counts for something. Its reclining too, which is a big plus.

Damn, just reallised the yellow inserts are only available for their competition seats. Why dont you try getting a cheaper set of seats from a well known company, and having an upholstery shop fix it up the way you like it? You could also have the back seats done as well.

I know. If I had the money (and could figure out a way to put them on WITH side curtain airbags) I'd so rock 'em!

So you are a big fan of the airbags huh KRD. Its a shame the air bags in the tC dont work for crap anyway haha.

So whats with all the people in accidents lately on CStC who havent had their airbags deploy! This is crap haha. Anyway, back on subject, if I were looking to replace seats now, the only way I would do it is if I were trying to cut vehicle weight, put in 5 point harnesses, or just to rock a different name brand on the interior for styling purposes. If you arent trying to do any of that, I would just have the factory seats re-upholstered, it will be so much more comfortable to ride in.

If you definately need the racing seats though, I would get a cheap Sparco reclining set on ebay or something, and have them upholstered the way you like them.

Hehe ok then, do what you gotta do! I think some 5 point harnesses would look great, and I have always wanted a car with them, but Im just not interested in sacrificing the awesomness of the comfort in the factory seats.
