So if I got Short Ram intake instead of CAI, would this still be making a difference in sound and HP?

check out the intake threads. theres a ton on this subject. typically shorter would be louder but takes in hotter air not letting you run as efficient as you could with a cold air.

So what if my girlfriend drives a Supra, I'm more sexier than she is! =)

From what I understand, the SRI has a nastier sound to it, but you dont get the same performance you would of a CAI. Im going for the SRI, just because I hear its got an amazing sound.

oh sweet, I love the louder hiss sound.

I think i'll prolly shop for a SRI and as suggested to be, i could always get some piping to extend it down to a CAI if needed.

Just get the Injen SRI, it converts into a CAI as well.

I really like the hiss sound! its was got me interested in "where the heck do you get that sound!?" - "its intake buddy!"

so, here i am, looking around for some intake. lol.

I'm on a part-time budget here, paying bills, going to school, so im not looking really for anything expensive right now, so either the cheapest name brand SRI or the cheapest knock-off SRI for the time being, only got another year left of college and few months after that till i go full time so.

JUST SOMTHING will do for me right now! =D

well the first thing u can do is to take the Silencer off ur stock intake. (you can pick up a plug from home depot for cheap). It's a good cheap start and sound good.

It's the black plastic box that sits in front (closer to the bumper) of the elbow on the intake duct between the filter box and the throttle body.

I don't have any I/H/E upgrades right now. Also, I want to stay pretty quiet although the leak from my S-pipe isn't helping that! ... or my MPG's. Oh, well ... it's getting fixed this weekend.

Considering this is my first post on any disscussion topic i figured i thorw in that i just bought the Fujita Cold Air Intake. Good price and I think it'll sound awesome and im sure i'll get all the benefits out of it as they say. The website I bought it from is www.thmotorsports.com they have great prices lower than other dealers sites that ive been researching.
