I need new brake pads and im going to do them myself, i am completely lost on which brake pads to buy, im familiar on how to do it (thanks to WEB) but now i need to know which would be suitable brake pads for me...

I hate brake dust and i went through my OEM pads in 17k (im down to 2mm)

and i dont want to spend a ton.
thanks

Damn! 17K and already need new brakes!!! I wouldn't want to be a passenger while your driving haha.

I'm almost at 60K and still have 1/3 of my pads left.

EBC are good pads. I heard AXISS pads produce much brade dust. It also depends on your budget and what you want to spend.

Yep! I can take a picture of my odometer and brake system tomorrow if you would like to see haha.

I don't brake hard at all and I use "engine braking" the majority of the time. I downshift coming to stops where I just need the breaks to stop completely from 20 mph or under. Saves my brakes good since I keep checking them cause I want to upgrade but like nope they are still good. Gotta run them out before busting the money for what I want.

Axxis are great pads and same with Hawk. I have EBC red stuff but don't recommend them unless you do a lot of highway driving (long/fast stopping) or autox. They squeak when not in their heat range, which would be almost all the time in normal city driving, so I'd stay away from EBC in general if you do city driving. Green stuff are ok, but when I had those, they squeaked just as bad when warm or cold.

I have the Axxis Ultimates - definitely good pads but yes they do squeak when not in the heat range. They're for street performance/racing.

The Deluxe Plus are OEM replacements - organic, low dust.
