Scion presents: "The Show Of Champions" Concept: Central Atlantic Toyota along with Miller Scion, Glenn Burnie Scion, Peruzzi Scion and Koons Annapolis Scion will pull together to throw a first ever multi dealership/manufacturer car show in the hopes of breaking new ground and setting a record. The Goal: To set a documented world record gathering of Scion Owners...to be successful we have an overly optimistic goal set in the 1000 vehicle participant range. Where: Capital Raceway ( www.capitolraceway.com ) 1451 Capitol Raceway Rd Crofton, MD 21114 When: August 3rd, 2008 The Lead Up: To build momentum for the event, the dealerships will participate in a poker run where the final and fifth card will be received upon check in at the event. Each dealership will individually separate a 52 deck of playing cards within an officially sealed dealership envelope. Upon arrival at the event the first 52 people in the gate will receive an additional sealed envelope from CAT headquarters. Whoever has the highest hand will win a prize of unspeakable value. In the nearly impossible chance of a tie, a sixth deck will be introduced as a tie breaker. Activities: We have a huge wish list and will announce it once it's set in stone. Judging: Will be handled by Team Emotion Vendors: so far -No Limit inc (Glen Burnie) confirmed -Ptuning (Miller) confirmed -Freeway Tint (Miller) unconfirmed -Competition Grafix (Miller) confirmed Optimistic Stuff: 1000 vehicles, if we achieve the ultimate goal, all registered participants will receive an official gift commemorating the event. |
