I like the layout and quick links we have right now a lot. The one main thing that is just a little plain is the color. It's been mentioned before by a few people but that's my only real downside to the site. Granted, it's better than a lot of other sites anyways...but something more along the lines of another color pattern would be cool.

I'm addressing the forums first (threads/posts/forum categories) before addressing the layout. The layout will be changed eventually though.

Ok.....Just remembered one thing.
This is for Mods and you only but, the "Reported Posts" area is a bit of a nuisance sometimes. After clicking the "View report queue" link and viewing the post that someone has made, deleting it takes a while. I've clicked delete and refreshed the screen about 10x and it still shows that there is 1 report to read. Only thing is, when you click it (after it's already been deleted), the screen shows no posts available. Is there a time delay after the deletion of a complaint?

I cache that block for 5 minutes or so. I'll remove caching on it the next time I cross that node.

Just my opinion...
I'm a fan of darker backgrounds, I mean it's easier on the eyes to read white text on a dark background.
Also...
It would help if each post had a box around it, so that you can easily see between posts. On this page you can see that your posts and Web's blend together (including the signatures). Just a thought, I dunno if it would make the threads look messy or not.

I really love this feature on other forums. Maybe there could be a "New Posts" link so that when you click it it shows all the recent posts since your last visit. If it's already there then i can't find it lol.

Just an update that I still am working on the new forum system. Still quite a bit to do, but it's coming along nicely.
Current moderators will be needed soon to start testing things ;)

I agree with Web on the whole reported post not deleting or going away for atleast 5 mins after it was tended to.
Also, a new background wouldn't be too shabby.
And, can we have a username/profile search function?

Just click on "Latest Thread Activity" that shows you all the new posts, their dates and times.

if the site had better designing, it would be better...right now, i feel the design/color is too "simple." for example, i love scionlife's layout...something along thise lines...

Forums will be revamped as well as gallery, profile, rides, etc.
After these are revamped, the entire site will be 'redesigned'. New color scheme, etc. I just have to migrate off the old platform, which is what the forums, gallery, profile, and rides sections are still stuck on.

ok well heres yr reminder SqMk
"make an option for people posting threads to enable an expiration date"
for example the thread i made about the coupons, wuld be alot easier on u and the rest of the MODs if i culd have set the exiration date to when the coupons expire. so years later down the road some1 wont comment on it and throw it back up to the top.
also can u have an option for "mass-unsubscribe" to threads?

Thank you good sir, I'll definitely implement this in the first post launch round of changes. The thread will auto-lock upon expiration.
