My first car was an 88 honda prelude si oh with the 4 wheel steering.. Hahaha you thought our tc could take corners let me tell you something.... It was my grandmothers and it had 43K on it when it was given to me in 03 that car was the shit to turn in... Except in the rain... Crank it a little too hard and you would do 180's without the E-Brake... Haha shity gas mileage as well but it was a fun car for sure.....

My first car I had for a few months was a 1987 oldsmobile cutlass supreme.

The only pro's were it had a radio and power windows. Had ac but I never used it. Idk what the mpg was but 20 bucks would fill it back when gas was $1.79/gallon. The cons are everything you can think of.

I had a 2004 Kia Optima for 10 days after my licence and rolled it by pulling the e-brake going in to a ditch. : / Then I got a 99 GMC sirra which I still have to keep miles off my tc.

I truly LOVED my 88 Dodge Omni (Maroon exterior and interior!!)

5 speed hatch and b/c we got it when we were in Italy (my dad was in the Air Force), it had the European transmission and not the standard American style. I considered it the "bull head" style b/c it was like this:

Down, left and up for reverse was awesome and much easier than other American cars I had. It was just awkward to go all the way to the right and down...felt like I was going into 4th.

*not the one I had but similar (I didn't have the fog lights)

It's not really going along with this thread but I really liked it. I had a 01 Cavalier and then a 96 Ranger before my tC.

I would have to say the worst out of them all was the Cavalier.

Complaining is futile when you supported the victory.

1997 mitsu montero.

Reamed on the price 'cuz I didn't know any btr. I bought it used.

Engine probs. 3x times b4 I went to school in Wyoming (that was only 1 month after purchase).
Came home for winter break, took it to the dealership fer maintenance, picked up the next day, felt fine, ran good. Helping a relative move something and somehow the car went into 4wd. Lights weren't on in the dash and the steering did not feel any different. Got down to SJ and the front diff was smokin'. Of course since it was a used vehicle they tried to fight the warranty bull on me, but they ended up fixing it, they had it for 2 weeks! If I had payed for it,l the bill woulda been for over $6k.

Needless to say, I'll nvr buy a mitsu again.

My first car was a 90 Buick Regal.

Wasn't really a bad car, until Jiffy Lube got a hold of it. They messed up the oil plug some how and the engine seized up. Refused to pay for it.

The shop that we took it to gave us an estimate on how much it would be to replace the engine, did it, but the mechanics were idiots and it never ran right after that. Finally traded it in for a 2002 Daewoo Leganza. Despite Daewoo being notorious for having problematic cars, I put over 80,000 miles on it and only had to replace one belt, besides regular planned maintenance. Then I heard Daewoo went out of business and I began looking for it's replacement and found the tC.

I'm getting an idea so ingenious that my head would explode if even began to know what I was talking about....

It wasn't my first but it had to be my POS. 94' Saturn SL1, for those of you that don't know, the older Saturns didn't have names they had letters and numbers (weird). At 121k the car threw a rod (I think), it went through the hood!!! The car was worth 1400, and it was going to cost 2400 to fix the engine and the trans...We got rid of it and bought a 88 Tercel with a 3E and a 4spd, 267k it busted the timing belt.

Ok so that's two, but the Tercel wasn't a POS...

my 1st car was a 97 nissan altima (its in my profile), it was a good car till horrible things started happening.

Afterallthe goodie mods i blew into it,

Repairs:
Hit a huge rock and cracked my transmission pan
Replaced both catalytic converters,
Re-wired tail lights (dont know what happeneds but it went all flippy)
New engine
Suspension went out
Spend alot of money on 4 gauge clusters

I spent more money on repairs then mods so i got rid of it..

I wish I could share some of my old memories of my first car, but my first car was the tC! But I did drive my brothers old 1996 four door Honda Civic while I waited for my tC. But even driving the Civic wasnt horrible since my brother had put a lot of money into it to make it a little nicer. Heres a picture

No doubt kinda ricey but it looks pretty nice IMO.

Worst car I've owned would be this:

Mitsubishi truck. It's in the background. Man, 75mph and it shakes like a mofo, 80mph and it stops shaking. LMAO. I also drove a Dodge Ram 50 (which is the same damn truck) but it was WHITE. oooooh, aaaaahhhh. lol.

Only thing that was good with that truck was that i learned to drive manual from it. 2 months later, I couldn't take it anymore, so I got the tC.

My first car FTW!!! 1991 Honda Civic Si Hatch, 230,000 miles when I bought it, what a dork. Barely passed the smog check, had to change all four brake assemblies, last owner did a "Micke Mouse Job" when he replaced the brake pads and f'ed up the calipers and rotors. Engine blew up after 4 months (0bviously; 230,000 freakin miles) Got an engine swap to a V-Tech, had to change transmission and clutch. Ahhh the good ol' Times. Car ended up being stolen and gutted. I mean they took everything!!!!! it was found on blocks. Total loss.
