I still have to stock stereo in my car, yah I know I need to change that! But the other day on my way to work I was listening to a CD and there were no problems. After work I wanted to change the CD and when I hit eject it didn't come out. When I hit the disc button nothing happens and when I hit eject again it just flashes "CD in" but does nothing. Everything else works just fine so what's the deal and how do I fix that?? Has anyone else had this problem? Also sometimes when I go to close my sunroof it closes part way but not all the way and pops back open. Any help here would be fabulous! Thanks guys and gals!

Hmmm... sounds like the dealer+warrenty work.... I'd take it back and get a new radio from them...

The sunroof...Toyota's have this "safety" feature that it will stop half way when you close it So, you got to let off the button....then press again to close it. Not sure if that'll resolve the problem...but, a shot/idea

If the sunroof pops back open, it is showing that there is something keeping it from closing, and in order for the motor not to damage itself, it goes back. There was something in the forums a few days ago saying how to reset the sunroof, may wanna check that out.

As far as the cd player, take it to scion, and have them replace the player. Its either dirty inside or it just simply failed on you and needs to be replaced.

Both issues will be covered under warranty. Take your car to the dealer.

I also vote for warranty if you have it.

My stock headunit used to do that too. It did it more when I switched to taiyo yuden cd+r cuz they're a little heavier then other manufacturers. To get it out I would normally switch it to the radio and switch it back to cd to get the cd to load, and then try to eject it again. Sometime I had to try a few times. Also, once in a while it wouldn't come out and I'd just listen it to it for another day and then eject it.

With your stereo, it sounds like a cd is jammed in there.

For you sun roof, when you close it the wind deflector goes down and if the two rods that pop up when you open your sunroof don't have enough oil on them they will stick a little bit and your sunroof will pop back open. Most people have fixed this with some silicone lubricant.

The dealer should be take care of these things rather quickly.

Thanks for all the info. I'll probably have to take my car to the dealer because now I've noticed that on the drivers side I can't roll down the passenger side window at all and on the passenger side when putting down the window the automatic roll up/down doesn't work. We checked the fuses and they're all good so who knows. It seems like I've had a lot of issues lately with my car, probably because my warranty is up soon lol!

Yah we disconnected the battery earlier today and that's when it seems like the windows were having their little issue, but then again I haven't rolled down the passenger side window in a while so maybe it started a earlier

Every time you disconnect your battery you have to reset your windows. What you do is roll them all the way down and then all the way up. You have do it on the passeger's side switch too, you can't do it from the drivers side switch. You also have to do it with the sun roof, all the way open and then all the way closed. I think you have to do it twice, buy I'm not sure. This should fix your problem.

Mine reset automatic when I disconnected the battery. I messed with the windows a bit, and after about 10-15 minutes of driving they were back to normal.

Hell yeah, good to hear. Sometimes the programming just needs to reset itself. I have noticed that it jacks itself up every time I unhook the battery, but it always comes back to normal
