I am currently lowered on TRD's with the Scion uprade wheels that are 18 X 7.5, any day now i will be recieving some TSW 18 X 8 wheels that have an offset of 35...What i want to know is will i encounter any rubbing issues with these new wheels..by what i measured on my current wheels, it looks like i wont have a problem with a 1/2" increase, but just wanted to be sure...and if i do have rubbing issues, is there any alterations i can do to prevent this..also my tires are 225/40-18's..picture of the wheels are in my garage..you might recognize them..thank you crystal for the OK

You should be fine on a TRD drop with 18x8 and a 35 offset. Its stechs that might have a rubbing issue there.

What would be a good size tire to get with the S-techs then. I was considering 18 inch Enkei rims, with a 40 offset I believe. Would they go well with the S-techs or no.

The SEARCH feature on the site works, I promise. USE IT!!!

I have a little bit of rubbing in the front with my 18 x 8 (38 offset) on the Tein H-Tech drop. But, you should not have too many problems with the TRD drop.

225/40-18's would be good

^^Depends on the width of the Enkei's but yeah, either a 225/40-18 or a 235/40-18. I'm running the scion enkeis (7.5" width) on 235's.

i am considering getting these tsw lagunas also, if it not a huge problem jorge. i have s-techs and was wondering about the rubbing issue also. i plan on running my 225/40/18 on them. will they rub? my stocks tuck nice and is what i want with the aftermarkets but with the .5 in. larger rim and the 35 vs. 45 offset i can't figure out if they will hit the fender.

They'll fit fine. A little bit of rubbing on bigger bumps is all you'll have. For the record, I'm running 225/40/18 in front and I'm dumped on coils and only rub a little. The rears should be fine for sure since there's a lot of room back there.
