Blown Amp?

Ok so I was going to lunch today and I was sitting in my car and I heard this pop in my subs and then a second or two later they cut out. So I figured I had burned up the speaker wire again. So I was going to get new wire for the subs and the came back on for a minute, and then they cut out again so I went to the subs and amp to investigate and this time around my power light on my amp is burned out. I checked the wires going into the amp to make sure they were not loose and then I checked my power wire under the hood and at the fuse and checked the connector under the back seat and everything looks good. Do you guys think my amp blew or what do yall think it could be?

Check the wires on the back of the sub that go from the speaker wire connections to the actual cone. Those may have burned out.

does you amp have a surge protecter light on it, if it does and its on than you prob toasted you amp. if it doesnt have one and you try disconnecting the power on the amp and reconnecting (kind of reseting the amp) and still nothing, try looking at the remote wire (small blue wire on amp) and see if its got a good connection, or maybe is broken somewere. if nothing else works you may have toasted it. you can take it to a local stereo shop and they could prob test it.

I'm sure you already checked the fuses and the ground. Does the amp have a reset switch? It may have gone into protective mode, but it sounds like it may have died. Mine died a couple days ago, so I feel your pain. Hopefully that's not it though.

It has two colors on the power light it has green for im guessing good and then it has red which im guessing is bad. It was going through this phase like 2 weeks ago where I burned up the speaker wire going from the cone to the amp and so I was trying to figure out what it was before I knew I burned it up and the power light kept going from red to green back to red then to green again and then it stayed green. Right now I am getting absolutely nothing out of it at all whatsoever

I went in and unplugged the power and remote cables and plugged them back on and turned the car over and the green light came back on so I guess I am gonna keep pushing this amp till it dies and I have some cash. haha. Thanks excessive!
