aftermarket resonator on stock exhaust??

i was thinking of getting an aeroexhaust 2" resonator and replacing my stock resonator with it. will this change the sound at all? i dont want to get an axle back or catback, i just dont like how loud it is. thanks for the help

It will prolly sound the same buddy, seeing that you are replacing it with another one

but different resonators from diff comps, performance resonators or w/e they are called, sound diff than stock right? plus they are smaller than the stock resonator? anyone have experience with this?

Your replacing your stock resonator on your stock exhaust? I dont understand the point of that...You dont have any rasp on a stock exhaust

to add sound wit out a catback or axelback. Just get the resonator cut out and replaced with str8 pipe

Add a glasspack to the mid-pipe.

read man. i asked if doing this would change the sound of the exhaust. its all right there.

i bought a magnaflow muffler, and ran custom piping, and bought a nice tip. ill post pics soon.

Nice. Sorry for posting late but yes, putting an aftermarket resonator on a stock exhaust WILL change the tone slightly, but not much to consider spending the money on it.
