I've always kinda wanted one. But never thought the price was worth the few minutes I would save just cleaning my wheels with some microfiber and soap.

If you try it, please tell us how you like it and how it works on the stock wheels. Some of the spoke edges are a $#@&% to clean.

The Techie

i use my buddy's power ball often whenever i'm working on his car..

typically old classic cars with the chrome-ish bumpers and aluminum stuff... dunno.. but it has gotten its usage and it still works really well.

beats having sore arms from polishing by hand for a long time.

DANGER DANGER DANGER!!! Do not use this product for your wheels. I was washing my cars and got it looking all sexy and said "oh yea super sexy wheels!!!" and grabbed the Power ball and polish. started to have a go at it and said damn this is looking gooooooddddd!!!! then i get to one spot and there is a lot of crap. so i dig into it. its looking all god but there is a tiny little fly poop looking spots. hummm nothing the mothers POWER BALL can handle, right??? wrong. it wasnt fly poop. it was the f-ing finish of the wheels... coming off. there is now a black quater size POWER BURN on my wheel. and its not covered by my warrenty because i "used an outside source" meaning because the POWER BALL did it, Toyota wont cover it. i left a message with mothers to see what they will do, but they will prolly say user error and screw me that way. F-you mothers... your washing made easy has washed me out of sexiness.. Ryan sad

any one know how much the Black TRD rims are???

Holy $%@#! That sucks! I hope your rim issue gets resolved.

But thanks for the heads up. Do you know what part of the Mother's ball tarnished your rims? I would have the the ball would be safe for just about all rim finishes.

And was there a disclaimer on the package?

Sadly, i am SOL. Toyota wont cover me because its my fault and mothers wont help becuase apparently the aluminium wheels are not aluminium. so since i used the wrong polish they wont help. they suggested paying someone to strip the wheel and paint it all over again. which would prolly cost more than a new wheel. they did give me a refund though. so now i am ball-less and still have a jacked up wheel, can i buy just one wheel from toyota? and if so do you know the cost? i would call myself but im at work and the LT would be pissed if i called.
thanks... Ryan still sad...

The tC wheels are aluminum but the finish is clear coat so the best thing to use is microfiber towel soap and hot/warm water. Sucks to hear this…
