As people always say. No matter how much power. You always gonna want more. I have a Zex wet kit, with a 75 shot right now. I was think of going up to a 85 shot. What you guys think? I found myself getting my bottle filled everyweek. You think the internals to handle it?

The difference between a 75 shot and an 85 is going to be negligeble. Shouldn't hurt anything. I don't think its worth it, but to each their own.

That may be true, but i wanted to see what the difference in sizes were, so i put in the 65 shot jets, which is a step down from 75 and you can definalty feel the differnce. Im thinkinh 85 isnt gonna be a hell of alot more, but you gonna feel it between that and a 75

I think you'll be fine with the 85's, I just wouldn't go any higher then that. There are people running a 100 shot, but that's really pushing it.

Really? People are running 100's? WOW. I would like to see what they do in a quarter mile

You may actually get your chance. I think I've decided to abandon my turbo project for now. I bought a spare head that I'm going to pnp and build up, and once that is done, I'm planning on running a wet kit myself for when I need that extra power. The only thing is that I don't want to go over 300hp with the juice, and after I tune the car with the head rebuild, if I break 200hp n/a, then I'll only put a 75 shot on. I may do pistons as well, so I have a feeling that after it is built and tuned, a 100 shot is going to be overkill for what I'm looking to do.

Thats sounds like a plan. Im planning on building around nitrous. I dont want turbo. After i build my internals. Ima go direct port. Prolly like a 100 shot direct port. Nirtous is the best and cheapest type of F.I to me. I love the juice

about the direct port comment. That was my original plan.... but due to the fact that our intake manifold is plastic... I decided not to go that route...especially because I didn't want people all up in my engine bay checking it out.

I did however buy a throttle body spacer and drilled that to shoot my wet shot into. I covered all my steel braided lines in fuel hose... so you can't tell my car is on spray unless I have my bottles on display setup. Most times I have two 10's hidden where the spare tire goes. Completely stealth nitrous setup for sure. For those who don't know... that spacer is located between the throttle body and intake manifold. This is as close as you can get to direct port. I have seen an xB do direct port into a plastic manifold and the seals didn't seem like they were holding up.

You can still do a direct port if you feel like taking the time to fabricate or have someone fabricate and aluminum intake manifold for you. I've seen a couple of tC's with them on, just can't remeber who has one.

That prolly costs big bucks. Do you know a shop that can do that?

I think so. I'll ask them when I take my head over to get rebuilt. I'll let you know. I can't remeber the name of the shop right now, but its on rt40 around golden ring, right behind the rainbow signs place. i think its JS automotive, but don't quote me yet. My buddy could probably do it too.

an 85 wet shot wont hurt it neither will a 100 shot, in my exx. tho. i was runnin 100 with no internal upgrades with i/e/h and was runin mild 13's to low 13's, i was keeping up with most of my friends LS1's and GTO's.

i stop runin 100 shot because it does ware on the internals dependin on how u play with it. i just used mine on the track. you will feel a difference between the 85 and 75, at least i did. and kept wanting more.

anything higher i would suggest in upgradin internals or building a setup strickly for nitrious.

i had my muscle car buddies install my kit, since they all have nitrious on the v8's, they knocked it out pretty quick. but they had all the tools and one of my buddies owns a shop.

The kit was very easy.. I used regualr hand tools and got it done. Not hard at all. The hardest part was finding the wires that i needed, seeing that i have a zex kit it works from the cars WOT voltage. And i have a window switch so the nitrous comes on at my desire rpm range

u can run any shot you want thats under 120, you just have to have common sense in using it. some of my honda buddie built a 01 SI strickly for nitrious and blew it up the same day they put it on with a 100 wet shot. it wouldnt have hurt the car at all if they just used it wisely. but when ur tryin to race vipers and vetts on a turnpike and holdin the button down, ur basically asking for alot of trouble and sho enough the si blew up. just be smart about it, thats my motto when it comes down to nitrious, along with safety =). if u gots any other questions ill be glad to helpzzz
