I am getting my aluminum pedals (through McGeorge) tomorrow, I believe they are just covers. Has anyone installed these them selves? Is it simple? Since they are intended for dealer installation does it even come with instruction? I am asking now cause as soon as they arrive I want them on my car, they look very nice. |

I-m buying them if I ever get that $50 giftcard in the mail. Are they covers or whole new pedals? How long does that giftcard take? I just made my 2nd payment. |

What giftcard? I want one!Anyway, back on topic, since nobody has installed these, I will let you know how easy or hard they are when I install them tomorrow night. If they are actually difficult I will take some pix of the process, but I wouldnt imagine it being too hard. |

The install is very simple. Just slide off the old covers & slide the new ones on. No tools required, should take about 3 minutes, the directions are good. |

I realize now that going through McGeorge is a lot cheaper than going factory in ANY case. Too bad I only need the aluminum pedals and carbon fiber b-pillars. But it-s a good heads up for everyone else who wants some parts and doesn-t wanna get raped by factory prices. |

lookin good cj! aesthetically pleasing. tasteful. well done. (did I miss anything?) Did you color your seats somehow? The passenger seat is red in the pic. Also, did you shine up the wheel, shift boot, knob etc? They look like you dinked your hands in vaseline and started driving.......lol in a good way of course! |

lmao!!!!!! hahaha that was funny bof! well... the red stuff on my seat...is the sun coming in through my red windows. move the picture over a bit and you can see the window half way down. and i use the turtle wax formula 2005 crap or whatever. always have used that . itis the best. it wont crack your dash after a while. it doesnt leave an oily residue behind (like armorall).. it keeps it looking nice and shiny and fresh.....AND!! it keeps the new car smell! however the vaseline thing wasnt that bad of an idea... for maybe detailing a model t back in 1900. lol . this weekend when i get back from my camping expedition..im going to finisdh painting the other 2 vents and the doors. then im searching for rs 1.0 seats.! |

hey cj i like the setup inside man. I have an rs 1.0 and i wanted to get some red and sivler sports pedal for it....kinda like yours...however yours is just red.aslo i got a question for you so what do you use exactly to clean your dash board and the interior ...trutle wax? I use those armroll wipes and they are easy however if i miss i spot i can see the diff. its really hard no to miss a spot b.c you dont notice it till it dries. gimme some tips of how to take care of my interior and the exterior too.thanks man |

rs 1.0?.... hmmm...... i tell ya everything you wanna know... if you... GIVE ME YOUR SEATS!!!!!!! lmao!! j/k. ok....go to walmart.... pick up the swifter sweeper pads. not the ones for the wetjet or whatever. but the original swifter...where it was just the dry staticy pads. the ones i found they have are some other brand.... in a yellow box. anyway.... wipe the dash, console, doors, and console/armrest and rear with them. then i use the turtle wax formula 2005/newest one out. its in a lime green spray bottle... like a windex bottle. that shit works GREAT!!!! i swear by it. it doesnt leave the residue like armorall. it smells like new car. and armorall.....?...... after a while....starts to crack the dash. atleast from my experiences anyhow. but everyone else i talk to and know..say the same thing. the peddles.... were won from the raffle.... so i dont know where scion got them. i personally am not a big fan of the way the obx peddles look. BUT!!!...they were free, they are red(look better than silver), and they are a direct fit, not universal. |

Anyone know of a nice, sleek alternative to these things? They look really cheap to me, totally plastic. I want some real aluminum, and with some nicer contours. |

I believe those pedal covers are the ones Scion sells for the xA and xB, they come in blue, red, and silver where the tC only comes in silver. I imagine you can swap between the three models. |

cj that interior is beautiful. That tint doesn-t block the sun at all does it? I-m thinking about getting blue tint for my tC |

I just bought some OBX pedals off eBay and although I feel like a total dumba**, I have to ask: How do you install these things? There are absolutely no instructions and couldn't find any threads or help online. The brake pedal cover was easy, just four screws with thin metal bars attached to them. The gas pedal is a little different story (yes I have a AT, Father forgive me, for I have sinned). The hardware it came with is the following: ![]() Figure A: The pedal itself, shown is the back of it, there are two screws at the bottom have nuts on them Figure B: 2x U-Shaped or arched metal pieces Figure C: 2x small metal washers or spacers Figure D: 2x larger metal washers or spacers Figure E: 2x 1" threaded screws Figure F: 2x 5/8" threaded screws Figure G: 2x pieces of double sided tape Figure H: 2x threaded nuts I probably didn't put the brake one on right, but its holding for now. And I feel like a total idiot, but I really need some help. Thanks! |

Dont they make the scion accessory obx pedals for auto? Because the ones I got, a) grip excellently and b) are replacements for the stock rubber pedals, not something you bolt and clamp over, you should get these instead if possible =P |

I've had Razo Pedals before and they went on the exact same way. Last time the place I bought them put it on for me though >.< |

That looks... confusing... o_O I got the OEM aluminum covers and they're actually pretty rad. Once you see the silver ones, they don't look as plastic as I originally thought. They were pretty easy to slip on; only took me ten minutes and some elbow grease, and I got all three of them snug. They really add to the car. |

::sigh:: Well atleast they were really cheap, got them off eBay for $20.00 Now I have $20.00 paper weights. I like the Kayame Carbon Fiber Pedals (includes dead pedal cover too) or I might just go with the OBX ones from a dealership (most likely would buy from McGeorges) http://store.racinglab.com/hacafipeseta1.html |
