 well today i was setting up my new amp and i plugged everything and my stereo is not letting me get to the sub menu. to get the signal to my amp. its been connected before with my old amp and it was fine but now its not letting me. YES the amp works its new and i tried it on my other car. HELP...

 is that an after market stereo? if it is make sure all fuses are good and make sure all connections are tight ( i'm sure you already checked but just covering the bases ). is it the radio giving you the problem or the amp? but for starters check the remote wire (blue wire) and make sure its not lose or disconnected.
