Anyone else feel like the seatbelts going to cut your
neck?

I'm 5'7 and I still have to lean abit to the side just
to not have the belt rub against my neck.

It's the worst driving with windows down and the wind
catching the belt and making it move more.

I know some cars you can adjust the height of the seatbelt
but not ours....

I'm 6'3" and for me it's more like they put uncomfortable pressure on my shoulder and pull my shirt off, which annoys me. Only thing is...I've rolled a car and the only thing that kept me in that car WAS my seat belt. I wear mine no matter HOW uncomfortable it makes me feel.

I'm 6'3 and have the same problem as Web. After nailing a tree, though, that's a very small problem.

That had to be some defect with the retractor mechanism if it allowed you to travel that far. The ones in the tC don't let you move more than 6-10 inches away from the seat at a given time when tightened.

I've seen some seatbelt adjusters, some in a tC. I will ask her if she likes them and where she got hers at and will post it up here! (Or she might because she should know who I'm talkin about! )

You have a higher chance of living (50% higher) with seat belts on, always.

Short people can get one those child safety "snug adjusters", problem solved

When I got rear ended my head bounced off the steering wheel and my bro in the passenger seat hit his head on the front pillar... from the pic in my profile you would think air bags would've gone off but they didn't

All depends on if the crash sensors were hit in the collision. It sucks, but sometimes you can be in such a big collision that you would think other car's airbags would go off just by being near you....but nothing happens. It truely all depends on the angle of the impact and how the car was hit.

i think the seatbelts on our car are perfect for collisions. Even if i lean forward a little quickly they lock up. In a head on crash you're not going anywhere.

I used to have a mazda 626 and they never once locked up. I got in an accident going about 25 and the airbag didn't deploy and I broke my jaw on the steering wheel cause the belt didnt lock

I'm not saying don't wear your seatbelts

Just saying they are annoying if they always rub against my
neck. Esp when high speed winds on highway make it flutter
up and down rubbing my neck >.<

I'm 5'8" and the seat belts doesn't bother my neck at all. When I first drove, I didn't bother putting a seat belt on. I put it on now b/c I can get a ticket for it.

If the seatbelt is close to your neck, you need to adjust your seat! Haha.

Your seatbelt should be sitting near the end of your clavicle, but still before acromion end of the shoulder blade.

Try raising the height of the seat a little

I'm 5'8" too and it doesn't bother me either. I think 5'8" is the magic height for seatbelt comfort lol
