i recommend microfibers for everything: drying the car, removing wax if ur doing it by hand where an orbital is not avail, and when using the clay bar to remove the excess lubrication......microfibers are the shizzzzznick!!!

when it comes to drying a vehicle..I'd recommend a chamois towel over microfiber drying towels. I actually use a drying towel called "the absorber" I will NEVER dry my car with anything else again.

I've yet to use a microfiber designed just for drying, but I'll give it a shot.

Yeah, for drying, a nice waffel weave microfiber works real well. Some weaves just work better than others, haha.

There are different types of Microfiber towels. Make sure you're using the right one. They are like sand paper, they come in different grits. Usually green color means course. The Yellow color is Medium. And the Blue color is Fine. To dry the car I would use the green, buffing and waxing I would use the yellow or blue, if you use the green it won't give it the shine. They are great we used them at work all the time. Specially for finish products that are already painted. Used them on your wheels, they take off the brake dust like it was nothing.

Hmm, I didn't think they were classified by color, haha. Ive got some different color microfibers that are the same weave. But I do agree that a different types of microfibers work differently.

Mircofiber Towels are awesome, i use it for everything, have to check out the Walmart ones though, i have been getting mine at auto parts stores, which we all know are a bit more expensive, and for using them on my wheels they work wonders

I got some of the blue ones from Autozone or Pepboys or something. They work great for wheels. The blue ones (or the weave of these ones) don't work as well for drying in My experience; they are kinda small and take about 10 of them to fully dry the car. They are awesome for smaller jobs though.

I love microfiber towels. I have tons of them. I never use the same one over, just keep buying new.

I dont know if they are rated by color or what not, but I have found that yellow drys the best. blue takes forver to dry the car, have to keep ringing the water out of it.

Look up "The Absorber". I promise you...if you use it...you will NEVER use anything else again. One "Absorber" and you can dry your car OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER again. It holds 50% more water then any towel on the market...and it's just like a chamois cloth.

i definitely agree i use chamois to dry. but now that you mentioned the absorber and after seeing other comments on that...I think i wanna try it out! since i think i get streaks because it doesnt try properly ><.

the microfiber towels from walmart works just as well as the pepboys or autozone ones. it's cheaper too so if you like to use new ones all the time take that extra money and get more at walmart .

lol i tried drying with the blue one and omg it was horrible. left so many streaks afterwards -_-. it was just an experiment though
