^^I was looking at the D3, mostly because of its popularity for a while, but when I actually looked at the specs, I wasn't interested anymore. It is a good entry level multimedia headunit that does a lot of stuff, but it doesn't do any of it well. You can't good sound quality out of its 2.2v outputs.

Bump for reopening of this thread. Im still looking for a headunit. I don't need navigation. But want a double din dvd unit. That still has Ipod capability and steering wheel control capability dont want to give up my steering wheel controls.

I'd like the following and haven't been able to find it.

1. DD touchscreen
2. Rearview camera
3. Bluetooth
4. 3x 3V RCA outputs or better
5. SIRIUS tuner
6. Steering wheel controls
7. iPod controls (not totally necessary)
8. HD radio tuner (not totally necessary)

DVD and nav aren't necessary. Also, I want all of this to work together, so it either has to have some or all of this internal or enough connections to make this all work. Most of what I've seen have all of the accessories as add-ons working through the CD changer port.

The Eclipse double din units have the steering wheel controls integrated, and this one also has sirius:

But yeah, good luck finding all of that stuff in one unit without having to get the extra components.

Do any of their other units have the steering wheel controls integrated without the nav unit?

Eclipse is the only manufacturer that I am aware of whose harness is plug and play compatible with our steering wheel controls. With all the difficulty people are having getting those things to work, I'm actually relieved that my 05 didn't come with them! That would bug me too if I had them and couldn't use'em.

There is an adapter that I think I posted on the previous page which allows certain brands to be compatible. Can't remeber if it was in the thread or not...

Edit yeah, it was on the previous page: http://www.crutchfield.co...mp;i=127SWIPS&tp=3405 That's about as good as you're going to get unless you go with an Eclipse.
