this might be a dumb question, but how do you know when your shocks are blown? im riding on aftermarket springs, and i dont want to be crusing on the road and all of a sudden my shocks get blown and i spin out of control and cause destruction on the road. What can happen if i cruise on the road and my shocks blow? |

shocks dont just go all the sudden. the way you know is that the ride becomes different and you will see oil leaking from them ThE JeWiSh PiMp |

two main things you look/hear for.... 1) Oil leaks from the shock itself. 2) Squeking when riding over bumps neither of these mean the shock is "blown" per say but there may be problems in the near future =( |

consequences would be bouncy ride, unpredictable responses to changes in load pressure. I'd change them as soon as you can. ![]() ![]() ![]() Are you in SoCal? Come to our CStC meets! I'm pretty sure another sign is they bottom out very easily and a pothole suddenly becomes a land mine. |
