I need help changing my brake discs...

Ok...so I'm trying to upgrade my brake discs and pads but CAN NOT get the discs off because of this little round threaded looking "nut" that is holding the disc on and I can't figure out how to get it off...here's a pic...PLEASE tell me how to do this...

That's NOT holding the rotor on....that's holding the axle to the hub. DO NOT LOOSEN THAT. Simply remove the 2 caliper bolts (14 mm) and 2 bracket bolts(17mm) and the rotor will slide off.
