you can run it on your stock engine, at most you would wanna run a 75 shot. just dont go mad with it or that "killer deal" will kill your motor

The Guru

You asking about NOS kits (as in the company) or actually using nitrous oxide?

edit: nevermind, haha, I reread your question and now asume you mean nitrous oxide in general.

well wet or dry shot? That can make a difference in how much hp is safe on a stock engine

Max WET shot on a stock block would be 75. Also make sure you get a window switch as well as a WOT switch so you don't boost in the lower power band and risk blowing your engine. IMO, NO2 is pretty lame. Just boost your ride with a turbo or s/c. More worthwhile in the long run because you don't have to refill.

buddy it all depends on your setup. If its a wet or dry kit. What type of kit. If its wet i would do either a 65 or 75 shot. If its dry i'd do a 50 shot.. Their is nothin wrong wit runnin n2o on a stock motor. Grant it that its not safer that any other type of F.I. but see when ppl run n2o they dont do it the safe way. They just buy a kit, install it and spray.. All nitrous oxide companies make accessories to make using nitrous safer. But its up to you rather you want to use it or not.. Im in progress of running a 75shot with a zex wet kit and the least bit worried about if my motor can handle it. I wouldn't recommand running a dry kit on a tc

BTW.. NOS isnt nitrous. Nos is a company that sells nitrous NOS = Nitrous Oxide Systems. Nitrous is the actual product

I think thats a lil pushing it on a dry kit with a tc, Why, cuz tc's from the factory run a little lean. When you add performance parts you make it leaner.. Nitrous is rich, meaning it makes the car run rich. If you dont have the proper fuel to supply for the nitrous, its gonna cause detnation..
