 so ive done springs before on a tc so i figured it would be easier the second time around! mayo and i bought a cheap $30 compressor and we got into it. well to make a long story short, we can compress the rear spring enough to put the strut through. on top of the i couldnt get the spring off the comressor so i had to take it apart. now i have mayos car up on jacks in my garage and a strut disassembled. i cant find the diy on how to drop the car on the springs. can anyone direct me to it...im desperate lol

 when i used the spring compressor, i placed it on the 2nd uppest and lowest, not on the very top so i could get the mounting plate on. not sure how you're doin it. even then you don't have to compress the springs that much to take it off. by the way, you can rent spring compressors at kragen n autozone for free, don't know if u have any around u.

 try jacking up the a-arm method to compress the spring instead.

 thanks guys mayo and i decided to leave it until tom morning. im going to take the shocks to my school where we have a professional compressor and do it there then head back to my house to put them back on! i feel relieved now and not stressed...im going to win the battle against the springs lol. ill take pics and post them of mayos car when im done!

 I had mine done last night. Alot of problems getting the springs off. But they got it. They had to take everything apart to do it though. Sorry

 I know when the guys did my springs they had a tough time with a rear bolt or two... And, when SicktC06 did his at the house, we all learned the importance of marlking and "keying" the rears. ;)

 well its finally finished and looks amazing. i took the springs to my school put them on and came out and bolted everything up. it sucks knowing how to do shit but not having the tools to get it done! well mayo got it aligned this afternoon and i just have a to tweak it a little to finish. mayo said he would pictures up ;D

 Just got aligned. The camber was pretty off, no suprise, haha. Ill take pics once I wash the car!
