it was pretty cold here when I did mine, so we had a hair dryer and used the microwave for about 15 seconds to make them a lil more pliable.. it prob would have been easier to wait until it was warmer out but I don't have the patience (its been over a year now and they are still on there)

yeah make sure the lights are really clean.. get a hairdryer out and warm up the lights and warm up the tint.. warming the tint makes it easier to work with.. I had a small spray bottle of liquid dish soap and water (what the instructions said to use) and sprayed the tails and started applying the tint, pressing down with a credit card.. it took awhile but it worked

When I put mine on the instructions also had me get them wet with a mix of dish soap and water. This allows them to slide around eaiser so you can put them on perfect. The thing you want to make sure doesn't happen is for the water to freeze under the tint. This will cause the tint to lift away and now stay like it should. Good Luck!

Ya I used a hairdryer which did seem to help a lot. But I was luckily enough to get mine on in 70 degree heat! Makes all mods a little eaiser.

^^ Can't go wrong with that lol. I think thats a good idea, it would be pretty difficult to do in the cold. Man I want a heated garage so bad! lol

Honestly I would have a shop do it. Mine did not come out that great when I had my friend do it. It is hard to make sure you get all the bubbles out. Unless you have some kind of SUPER patience it probably will not come out as good as you want. I am having a shop tint mine for me as we speak, because I was not happy with the outcome of mine. Good luck with yours. =)

Same here i had a shop professionally install mine, and was not happy with the outcome, i ended up custom tinting them w/ my own design, and now their perfect, i even wax them occasionally to really make them stand out
