I think Tein S techs offer the lowest safe drop. 2.4" in the front and 2.0" in the rear. And I think Tanabe DF210s are a very close second. No doubt some of those odd ebay springs might be lower, but I wouldn't touch those, haha.

Personally, I think its important to take the spring rate in to consideration too. That will help dictate how sporty or comfortable the ride is.

Thats why I got Progress!

Tein S Techs will give you the lowest drop. I went with TRD because I did not want it slammed that much.

^ Eibach Sprotline and Hotchkis both have a 2.0" rear drop. Tanabe DF210s take the take with 2.2" rear drop. But who can really tell 0.2 inch difference, haha.

Any good springs will get rid of the hideous wheel gap.

^^ really? I thought hotchkis springs had a 2.4" drop in the rear. I remember reading about a spring kit that dropped 2.5" all round. Though personally, that's just barely tucking. If you want to really slam you car, you're going to need to pick up some Tien Basics or B&G coils to do it.

Yeah Tein Basics coilovers will slam you to the floor. 2.7" front and 2.6" rear? Damn, too much for me, haha.

They are adjustable though aren't they? Regardless coilovers are the way to go if you want to really drop the car low.

I've had hotchkis for about 3 weeks or so. I love them. I can feel bumps a little more but that's not an issue for me. I didn't want to go with S-techs for the fear that my struts would wear out too fast lol.

They have adjustable dampening and ride height. If you're gonna slam it's gotta be to the floor. Just tucking will be acheivable with springs. I'm tucking with stechs but only JUST.

quick thought...will toyota try and screw you on warranty if you have suspension problems if you use anything else but TRD equipment? Ford tried to screw me on warranty blaming the aftermarket short shifter on my tranny problems for my mustang. One call from my lawyer fixed that
