hey guys, i would appreciate if anyone has any knowledge on self painting of small areas on the car's body. I had a 7" sharp deep dent on the bottom rear passenger side and used body filler to smooth it out and painted it with BLACK auto paint which of course will be kinda dull. I heard it takes a lot of buffing to make it somewhat match a little better but of course it won't look exactly the same. Is there a type of gloss i need to spray on the auto paint?? so like.. primer/auto paint/ then maybe a gloss?? Appreciate any advice |

Buffing the paint itself will actually make it worse. The shine comes from the clearcoat and buffing it. ![]() ![]() ![]() The Thread Killah |
