Hey everyone, I just bought a Garmin Nuvi 660 and was wondering where other people put their portable GPS. I have it on the dash in between the gauge cluster and the vents. I want to put it in the cubby under the HV/AC but I cannot get the bracket to stick in there. I don't want to drill any holes. Does anyone know how I can mount it in there? Thanks

It looked like it got reception while I was placing it there. But it definitely won't get as good reception as on the dash.

I want to keep it as low as possible. I don't like anything in the windows.

put the suction cup on ur fuel gauge side. just make sure u clear the fuel gauge when ur running low on gas. the temp gauge never moves once the car warms up anyway

I'm definitely not putting it over a gauge. The temp gauge is there for a reason. In a previous car I cracked the radiator in Baltimore and luckily when It started getting hot I stopped before any damage was done. Nothing against you, but I would never cover a gauge as vital as that one.
