Help! how do i get to the wires from my stock HU?

 I want to hook up my system but I have no clue how to get to the wiring for my HU without tearing my car apart or breaking anything. Just got my new 08 tc 4 days ago and am not looking to try and break anything.

 well you dont have to tear your car apart too much.. lol...

you just have to take the arm rest off and take the HU out. the back seat just pops out. Run the RCA cable from the radio in the middle under the transmission shifter then under the back seat, and then to the trunk.... if you just putting subs in... it should not take you more than 1hr to hook it up.

 You can do it really easy and not have to remove anything but the bezel around the headunit. I am not sure what headunit you have and if your using a LOC or not. But assuming you need to get to your hedunit. Pull the Waterfall console off with your fingers, no tools required.

use a 10MM socket set to remove the headunit. Do what you need ot back there. Run the wires behind the glovebox, and under the plastic piece near the door sill. Run it behind the seatbelt and through the area between the seats and side of the rear of the car. Push the wire out of site and its now to the back of the car.

Only need a 10MM socket and maybe remove the glove box, and that needs no tools.

I have pictures of how to do this all on here in a DIY.

 I have the 08 stock headunit. Yea those pics would def. help out big time.

 Well, the first thing is, I dont think they added RCAs to the 08 headunits. Could be wrong tho. But the older headuints did not have them, so you might need a LOC (Line Out converter).
That actually make its easy, just find the wires on the drivers side under the plastic door sill and tap the rear speakers then run RCAS.

here is a thread with some pics of how to take apoart the dash for the radio. Pretty easy.

 I already have a LOC, so I just tap into the speaker wire under the door sill and run the rest. I appreciate your help and I will let you know how it goes and let you know if I have any questions if thats kool?
