Hello everyone! I am new to site but super excited! I-m getting a tC in the fall, just can-t decide on what color! But to the point.... I was looking at scion-Gt-s pictures in the gallery and I noticed that there-s the tC emblem on the passenger side dash above the glove box. I have never seen this before and I think it looks sweet! Does anyone else have this? How do you get that? I-ve never seen that as an option before? Is that a personal modification and how can I get one?! Please help me!

It-s the tC emblem off the rear of the car. To take it off heat it with a hair dryer, and use dental floss to go inbetween the emblem and the car. Don-t forget to clean the adhesive off the car with some goo-gone. Then its ready to go on the dash, with double sided tape. If you don-t feel/want to take the emblem off http://www.mcgeorgeparts.com/ sells them for $17.95 Also check the video forum for a how to video on the emblem removel

use 3m double sided backing to attach it. I bought an extra one, I like having an emblem on the back of my car.

i took my tC symbol off from the back n thought it would look good there too (right on top of the airbag letters). i didn-t need to use tape there was some still on the symbol (probably ruin the dash though).

looks decent, what type of radar detector do you have, and from that low on the dash do you think it picks up the through the rear window?

I know it-s a little off the topic... but for your radar detector, instead of having that wire going over your front console, u can route it around your dash and into that auxillary power outlet (in the glove box). It-s a real easy process too

What should I use to reapply the tC emblem? I want to take it off only to spray paint it white? I know double sided tape will work for the interior but I need something strong enough to hold it on the outside in weather and outside wear.

New tC owner here and I must say I feel like such a noob by saying this, but I never knew there was an auxilary outlet in the console box. I just recently had an aftermarket Sirius sat. radio installed and it used the lighter plug. I thought, well I will just watch my speeds and not use my -2 day old radar detector.- After discovering this thread I am truely grateful!! I just routed the wire from my radar detector down by the front console and hid it under the console covering. Can-t even tell the wire is there. (Thank God I had the -straight- power wire and not the curly ones like most come with.) I am sure I would have found it sooner or later, but a much appreciated thank you! Take care.-Brinkley
